I’ve been going to this salon for the past five months and been seeing Dre, she has been so helpful and kept my hair heathy as I went from box dye black to blonde to a deep purple that I’m completely in love with. Her work is amazing and I will definitely be returning for future hair adventures

Plus Dre’s a high energy person which makes all the long hours I spent with her fun! I was always able to ask her for advice too!

If you’re thinking of trying something new with your hair, I definitely recommend color with Dre! I’ve seen Dre twice so far and both times have been great experiences. She knows what she’s doing for sure, so you’re in great hands and she’s also very accommodating. Dre is very detail oriented and takes her time doing her work to make sure her clients get their desired goal. This review has been a long time coming! I have been seeing Dre for almost 3 years now, and from day one I knew I could never trust my hair with anyone else again. Dre is truly an artist. She always takes the time to listen and understand the look I’m going for, and has an incredible ability to recreate a cut or color just from a photo. The only way to describe her is a hair magician! On top of that, she is just a joy to chat with and always has me leaving the salon with a smile. Whether it’s a blonde balayage or fantasy color, Dre is your girl!

You can never go wrong with Dre…..she is AMAZING! Not only has she worked her magic on my color and cut, but I also just took my teenage daughter to her for a shag/layer cut. My daughter has long gorgeous hair that I knew I could trust Dre with. My daughter and I LOVED it. Dre totally listens to what you’re wanting to do with your hair. You don’t have to worry about asking for 3 inches off and coming out with 6 in off. I have recommended her to all of my friends for cut, styling, and color. Aside from her magical hands, she has a beautiful personality and is hilarious to talk to. You feel her love n light while you’re sitting in her chair.

Dre is the best of the best! I do not trust anyone with my hair except for her! She is a breath of fresh air and not only does she do amazing work, but she is such a sweetheart and always makes the whole process a fun time. I have been looking for a nicer salon in OC for a while and more importantly, a talented colorist who can color my dark hair properly. I found this salon (after trying 5 high-end salons) and Michelle the owner was very responsive. She booked me with Dre who is amazing. Dre asked me questions, she listened, she didn’t (unlike others) jump into suggestions such as bleaching my hair instead she did a wonderful color that I needed so badly.
I am loving my hair color and the way Dre took care of me. 4 years of looking for a salon and I can finally say I found the artist who can do magic with my hair.

I’ve been getting my hair done by Dré and she is absolutely amazing over all! She makes your visit very comfortable and makes sure she understands what you want while doing everything to benefit and save the health of your hair first. Super happy she was able to get my hair to this color!

I just want to say, I’m so beyond impressed by Dre’s work! It was my first time at Alkali Salon for a haircut and Dre had my hair looking like a million bucks by the time I left. She’s seriously a delight and I’m definitely coming back again! I showed her 2 inspo photos and she seriously executed and more! Every step of the way she would take the time to explain or check in to make sure the cut was to my liking – I got exactly what I wanted and left so so happy! I’m seriously so impressed and super happy that I found my new stylist! :) THANK YOU DRE!!

Dre did an AMAZING job on my hair! This might just be the best experience I’ve ever had inside a salon. When I walked in, I was dealing with lackluster, dry hair that had faded from medium brown to an unsightly reddish tone. I asked Dre to highlight and tone it, and she picked the perfect color and placement for the brighter pieces. I left feeling like a golden goddess! My base color was restored to a neutral brown, with gorgeous pops of blonde throughout. Overall, it appears honey, which is close to the color it was when I was a child. Not only that, but I was shocked how much healthier it looked after Dre was finished working her magic, despite the bleach used. What once was a ball of frizz transformed into a smooth, shiny and bouncy mane! She even gave me some deep conditioner samples to take with me. It’s been a couple months since I got it done, and my hair still looks beautiful. This has allowed for my roots to grow in for that relaxed, beachy, “lived in” look, which is fairly low-maintenance and minimizes damage. Even though I live on the East Coast, I am counting down the days until my next trip to Orange County so I can be in Dre’s chair again. In addition to being extremely skilled at what she does, she was also very sweet and fun to talk to. Highly recommend!

About 2 months ago I got my hair colored for the first time by Dre! She did amazing and made me feel very comfortable! The process did not take long either which amazed me and overall my hair was not damaged. During the 2 months I been given lots of compliments on my hair which I’m really happy! I highly recommend Dre because she does so well while also making the experience worth it and doesn’t damage your hair! I will definitely come back again !!

This review is for Dre! I’ve been to many hair stylists and I finally found someone who knows exactly how I like my hair cut, colored and styled! Dre is the best and so kind! She takes her time to understand what exactly I’m going for and she never fails to deliver. She even made me a cup of matcha before, hospitality 10/10!
